Stanford University Biobank

Overview of Services

The Stanford Biobank is a first-of-its-kind academic center for biobanking providing self-service sample management tools to empower Stanford faculty, centralize broad consent and community education, provide one-stop shop services for standardized laboratory services, and provision ‘green’ long-term sample storage solutions. The Stanford Biobank aims to pivot the definition of modern biobanking to include both improved biorepository management strategies, alongside an institute-wide broad consent and state-of-the-art data solutions for clinical and molecular data.
