Overview of Services
 

The Data Coordinating Center (DCC), located within the Research Informatics Center (RIC), provides services to members of the Stanford Medicine research community. The services focus on needs related to managing data of ongoing and new research projects. We specialize in the planning, development, management, and secure implementation of systems to achieve project goals in a technologically current environment. In particular, we have expertise in integrating advanced statistical and bioinformatics tools.

About Us 

We are a service center in the School of Medicine. The DCC was formally launched in March 2002 to fulfill needs related to managing data of ongoing and new biomedical research projects.

Stanford Cancer Institute Research Database (SCIRDB) 

The Stanford Cancer Institute Research Database (SCIRDB) is a powerful tool which integrates resources including Epic EHR, STARR, the Stanford Cancer Registry, and the Social Security Death Index (SSDI), plus specialized databases in surgical pathology and radiation oncology.
